Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.
Medium School:
Middle School is the most exciting and tumultuous years in any student’s life. This is when fun filled activities like cookery, gardening, dance, music, and chess rub shoulders with academic endeavour.
At J.P, the middle school years (ie. Classes 6-8) are focused at helping each child to cope and come to terms with these changes. A plethora of activities are offered to both channelize boundless energy as well as hone natural talent.
Assemblies happen twice a week to imbue confidence in each child to speak in front of an audience. Assemblies are also a platform to tap the innate creativity and ability of a child.
Inter-house activities dealing with theatre, recitation, painting etc provide ample opportunities to each child.
Interactive teaching through theatre, projects, presentations and hands on activities provides the mainstay to the academic thrust in the middle school.
The Middle Stage will comprise three years of education, building on the pedagogical and curricular style of the Preparatory Stage, but with the introduction of subject teachers for learning and discussion of the more abstract concepts in each subject that students will be ready for at this stage across the sciences , mathemtics, arts , social sciences, and humanities. Experiential learning within each subject, and explorations of relationns among different subjects, will be encouraged and emphasized despite the itroduction of more specialized subjects and subject teachers.
